Every year I go with my friend
Eva Wittlinger to New
Mexico and paint the gorgeous New Mexican landscape
in oils. It's a chance to reconnect with "plein
air" painting, enjoy the beauty of the southwest,
and have adventures. Eva and I met as undergraduate
students together at the Maryland Institute, College
of Art. Eva and I have been going on this trip off
and on for about 12 years.
This year, we painted around Jemez
Springs. Here is a sample of the work. If you are
interested in purchasing any of these pieces, send
me an email. All of them are oil paint on board.
